Castello di Frassinello

A fairy-like castle in Monferrato carved into the tuff over a thousand years ago

Former residence of the noble family of Nemours dipped into the green Monferrato hills, recently awarded by Unesco as World Heritage, Frassinello castle is an ideal charming place for the organisation of special events.

Halls finely restored, painted and embellished with friezes, mosaics and golded mirrors as well as a beautiful garden with 300 rose bushes and a wonderful view over the perched villages and surrounding hills.

Guided tours in English language inlcuding a wine and local products tasting are arranged every day from Monday to Sunday at 10,30 a.m. and from Monday to Saturday at 3.30 p.m. by an historical guide.
